Our kittens leave to go to their new homes between 14 and 16
weeks of age, depending on their development. At this point they are eating well and have been
well socialized. Please trust us to know what is best for the kittens.
All kittens will be vaccinated with 3 series of their kitten shots, Feline Rhinotracheitis-Calici-Panleukopenia vaccine, rabies will be given at 16 wks, if taken prior rabies will be the responsibility of the new owner. Rabies can not be given until the kitten has reached 16 weeks of age. If kitten is being shipped, the kitten may be required to have a rabies shot. In this case the kitten would not be ready to go until all vaccinations have been given, including rabies.
We will spend days and nights with the kittens so they will be spoiled, well socialized and ready to take their place in your home and heart. We guarantee the health of all our kittens. We are Feline Leukemia (FeLv), Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), parasite and fungal infection free. Kittens are sold with a written contract describing terms of sale.
Kittens are available unless otherwise designated. A kitten that is "reserved" may become available later, so if you're interested in a particular kitten, please let us know. We'll keep your inquiry on file.
If you are interested in a kitten from Rickat, the first step is to please complete the Kitten Inquiry form (link above), which is a word document. You can save into your directory complete and then send to us via e-mail. If you decide you want a kitten from Rickat then I will forward a contract for your review. A kitten inquiry and contract are required in order to place our kittens.
Our kittens are our babies and we want them to go to wonderful homes where they will be part of the family. Also, we want to be sure YOU will be happy with the pet you choose. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions you might have.
If possible, we'd love to meet you in person and we encourage you to visit any cattery (including ours) from which you may get a kitten. We know that is not always possible, but it is truly the best way to decide if a breeder and their kittens are right for you. We do ship kittens in the US, but prefer to either place the kittens locally or have you come to pick them up in person.
Reserved - Kittens are those we have received a deposit on and a contract has been signed.
On Hold - Kittens are those we are evaluating or have been verbally promised to a home but could come available at a later time.
